I recently uploaded a new software offering to my website. It is an accessible bible program which is fully searchable and provides spoken output. It does not require a screen reader. It runs under Windows. It also comes with a talking installer. I have added some new features and bug fixes in the latest upload.

Maintaining The Proper Focus
In the midst of all of the negative news, fear and uncertainty, we must do our best to focus on God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and their love.
I am amazed at the number of Christians who have no understanding concerning the origin of the virus we are battling. I have heard some refer to it as
God’s judgment. Some say it is a plague from God. Others have prayed that whatever God is trying to accomplish through it, we must allow as his ways are
higher than our ways.
I can tell you with the certainty of scripture that our loving heavenly father is in no way connected with this event, other than to help us through it
in any way possible.
To believe anything else would be to deny the redemptive work of God and his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.
In John 3:16-17 we read:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
God loved all of us enough to sacrifice his only begotten son. Jesus loved us enough to give his life for us. He not only took our sins to the tree, but
he also bore all of our sicknesses. The God portrayed in the Old Testament is not the God of our age. Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our savior
are now at peace with God: he is our loving father! Those of you who are parents know that you will do anything possible to love, bless and help your children.
How much more is God willing and able to care for us, his children?
Romans 5:1-2 states:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
So who is responsible for all of the sickness, death and destruction taking place?
John 10:10 clearly shows us the picture:
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The devil is called the thief in this verse. In contrast, Jesus tells us his purpose in coming. Everything that has “steal, kill and destroy” written on
it comes from Satan! Everything which pertains to life and abundance comes from God, through Jesus Christ.
Now, more than ever, we must fix our focus on God, his love and goodness. He is our loving father. He isn’t against us. We are at peace with him. We have
been given holy spirit, and are partakers of his heavenly riches. We are fellow heirs with Jesus Christ! There is no better relationship than the one we
have with God!
With these awesome truths in mind, let us read and rest in these verses from Philippians 4:
6 Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things
are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
With the proper perspective, we can now concentrate our prayers on God’s healing, protection and wisdom. We pray for our leaders to respond to God’s inspiration.
We pray for protection for those assisting those in need. We pray for those seeking for solutions to eradicate the virus.
In all of these things, God is working with and for us. Jesus makes intercession for us.
God bless you and I look forward to the time when we can all meet together in person.
January 2018 Prayer Breakfast
Our prayers are vitally important. When we study prayers in scripture, we most often look at the Lord’s Prayer. For this lesson we will look at another great prayer example from the book of Acts.

God’s love and the love of Jesus who gave everything for us.

There are many directions I could go as we approach Christmas, but I think a simple, peaceful holiday greeting is always the right plan.
My wife shared a video with me which touched my heart, and I hope it also brings you the same joy.
December 2017 Prayer Breakfast
Words are powerful! Everything we say, and everything we hear affects us. Those things which get into our hearts alter our faith.
November 2017 Prayer Breakfast
Do you know what God does? Do you know what he does not do? Many people think he is responsible for everything which takes place in life. As we will see, the scripture gives us clear instruction on the topic.
October 2017 Prayer Breakfast
Those of us who are Christians are children of God! What does this mean? What will it mean in our future?
September 2017 Prayer Breakfast
What is the mystery of Christ? Don’t guess, the scripture has the answer. Even after you read it, however, you will need the working of the holy spirit to enlighten your understanding.
