\nAbout ten years ago, I began to realize that I would be writing a book about God. At that time, I had very little detail on exactly what the topic would be, but I had a strong sense that God\u2019s heart and nature were not clearly known by most people.\n<\/p>\n
\nI had been a Christian for most of my life, but it seemed that there were as many views of God as there were churches. Worse than that, some views, even within Christianity, were dramatically opposite to others.\n<\/p>\n
\nI often hear people say that God is a loving father, yet they also believe that he is responsible for the death and destruction we endure at times. They portray him as a volatile being.\n<\/p>\n
\nI want this book to be a breath of fresh air to those who read it. Although the book contains a great deal of scripture taken from several versions of the bible, it is presented in a format which is conversational, clear and practical.\n<\/p>\n
\nRegardless of your perspective, you can learn from the material. Since I believe that God is consistent and loving, I will show you from scripture, how and why we experience both good and evil throughout our lives. I am convinced that our actions affect our situations and outcomes. Therefore, I will not only present theory but also show you specific ways to apply the principles we learn as we explore the scripture.\n<\/p>\n
